Let the showers begin! My first baby shower was thrown by some of my really good friends. It was a snowy, cooled, icy day for driving so I was glad so many were able to come and arrive safe. We’ve joked this winter that we live in Lehi on “ice mountain” instead of Traverse Mountain because after a big storm + plus the intense wind factor it leaves you no time to shovel before everything just turns to ice.
It was fun to be able to see so many friends after the holidays! The theme for the shower was “see you later little alligator” inspired from the bedding we got for baby Zac that you can see hanging from the window below. Everything was so cute and creative, I could hardly stand it!
Whitney did these cute invitations, which she is so good at, and Elaine put together the awesome decorations.
Of course Pam took care of the food, which turned out perfect.
Sheena surprised us all with this adorable cake!
Laura put together the cute “thank-you” gifts. I don’t have an up-close picture of them, but trust me when I say they were so cute!
Everything turned out perfect, the gifts were generous, and I’m one lucky girl to have such awesome friends! Thanks guys!
PS: I was 27 weeks and 2 days at that point.
