1,152,000 minutes

This is part 7 in a series of related blog posts.  You may want to start at the beginning.

So, after the move to Utah, we spent the next 1,152,000 minutes having the time of our lives.  You know what they say: Couples who play together, stay together. ?

I know what you’re thinking.  “Look at these two, why don’t they just get married already!!”  Good call.  But, since I’d seen far too much divorce in my life growing up, I had to be sure that whoever I chose to marry, was most certainly a keeper for at least a hundred million years and then some.  So, we dated, and dated, and dated some more.

balloons

We love watching hot air balloons lift off on the Fourth of July.

The bottom line?  We were best friends.  And we loved spending time together.

What we had was special, and I knew I never wanted it to end.  So I began planning a proposal that would be worth the wait.
